Come along to see a showcase of Japanese costume to represent the traditions of Japanese culture when you visit Normanby this season!
This stunning collection has been collected over the last 20 years, by a local North Lincolnshire lady. The exhibition includes over 30 different Japanese costume, accessories and traditional objects. Dating back to the mid 1800’s this fantastic display captures some fabulous costume items including a priests costume, wedding costume, kimonos and children and baby clothes. It’s such a bright and colourful exhibition and is suitable for all ages.
This exhibition is part of many more exciting events on display this year to support 400 years of trading, scientific and cultural relations between Britain and Japan.
